High lake

Description

This is india's largest high altitued lake.
It's called Tso moriri, and it's situated at a hight of 4595.
I've been on a 3 day tour there, and got bord, so I decided to climb up to the snow line (abuot 5500 meteres..) and that's how I got the picture

We slept at the little green patch of grass you see on the lower left corner.
Anyway, I've played a bit with the picture's curves, so I hope I didn't over due it

Well, I think it's interesting to see for your self where the picture came from...
If you tilt the camera view from that location on google earth, and look at the lake, you get about the same view

(I think it's pretty cool)
I'll add a screenshot to the aditional files.

I like this composition very much, the water reflection is very nice. In my humble opinion, i think it needs a bit of contrast and some highlight boost. Dispite that, it's a marvelous landscape and nice work of photography.

edit: Yes, you didn't overdone it, it's looking natural and more punchier. Good Work!

I've edited it a bit in highlighted far hills a bit. Hope I didn't overdue it...
Though I do like it this way better.

Great capture! It does look painted. I like that it doesn't have a focal point. It lets the eyes wonder around the picture and pick up all the colors and shapes. Very nice! +9/9

I'd go one more round with the contrast actually!
